Account Ownership Transfer

You may utilize this option if, as the owner of the account, you want to change the responsibility of your Speed account’s ownership.

It simply means, if you are the owner of an account and wish to transfer its ownership to another user who is already a team member of the account, you can achieve this by following the steps provided below:

  1. Go to Settings > Business Settings > Users & Teams.
  2. Identify the team member with “Administrator” role who needs to be assigned as the owner of the account.
  3. Click on the Transfer Ownership button under “Action”.
  4. Enter your password for confirmation.
  5. The ownership transfer to the new owner will occur upon entering the correct password.
  6. Both the existing and new owner of the account receive an email regarding the transfer of ownership.
  7. Only owner of an account has exclusive authority to close the account, transfer ownership, and manage affiliate partners.


Take note that the current owner's role will be changed to “Administrator” and they will no longer have owner access to the account.
